Congratulations to Kelly Jackson Higgins for a well-written article on a subject that should be of interest to all environmental activists. It is very difficult for most of us to wrap our minds around the activity of hackers. While international hackers have gotten a lot of publicity lately, it is wise to remember that hackers are active on all sides of intranational disputes, as well. The means of infection in this instance included "phishing emails posing as Microsoft technical support" and "a phony Adobe Flash installer that's pushed to [your] machine when visiting ... infected websites." Keep your guard up and surf safely!
