Scientists' Warning to Humanity, Round Two: Dire Predictions Fulfilled Since our first warning in 1992 " ...humanity has failed to make sufficient progress in generally solving these foreseen environmental challenges, and alarmingly, most of them are getting far worse." My sense is that we have already run out of time to prevent climate change's worst ramifications. It is time to prepare for the consequences of our stupidity. Dealing with vast population shifts away from our coasts should be a top priority.
