Trump indicates disasters = spectator sport What we see in others reflects what others see in us. Here Trump looks in his psychological mirror. As usual, he sees nothing. There are no "spectators" when it comes to climate! Spectator Trump will not be an exception.

What I want to know is why the government keeps paying to rebuild these places. Let them crumble and then people will stop living there. And we can stop rebuding repeatedly.
ReplyDeleteSilverStar Heggisist I agree. The decision to invest still more money in places that will soon be below sea level bothers me, too. All money should be spent on relocation and none on rebuilding.
ReplyDeleteJeff Diver or wildly above sea level. Not too long ago there was worry about global cooling. And I remember reading in old text books (which I used to do for fun) about how historians believes that the little ice age was the next iceage starting and that the industrial revolution stopped it.
ReplyDeleteGlobal cooling is a far worse event then warming. As cooler is bad for life in general. There is a reason why biodiversity falls dramatically the further from the poles you get.
SilverStar Heggisist To your point, the book "Tambora: The Eruption That Changed the World" by Gillen Wood goes into the horrors of even short-term global cooling.
ReplyDeleteJeff Diver yeah my concern now is yellow Stone that is past due to erupt. An event much much bigger then anything anyone has ever witnessed.
