Lazy jet stream magnifies global warming Heat disasters in Sweden, Greece, Australia, Denmark, Finland, Texas, California, Yosemite Park, our oceans, etc. this summer are the outcome of stationary weather systems. Blocking high pressure systems are trapping storms, rather than letting them progress across the globe as usual to water dry soils.

This is the just the beginning of the consequences of our failure to acknowledge and mitigate our impacts on our environment. The fault lies with us. We are making things worse.

This will continue for a generation, even if we make needed changes today. Mother nature says, "It's payback time!" You are paying the price.
