Are "superpowers" superpolluters? ProPublica's "Bombs in our Backyard" series reveals the pollution hazards to US civilians from the American war-making machine. Eisenhower's "military-industrial complex" strikes again!



  1. Quite true, I am sure..... there's lots of hidden spots where toxic chemicals and materials (asbestos, arsenic, lead, mercury etc.) have been dumped, buried or simply left behind and untreated by manufacturers involved in the cold war supply line.

    Then again, there are lots of secret timebombs that wait to cause environmental and physical damage to many European countries... like the literal one in the Thames.... -
