Fracking depletes & sometimes poisons potable water supplies.

Fracking depletes & sometimes poisons potable water supplies. Waste pond water contains salts, poisonous substances and may be slightly radioactive. Fences & signs may keep people out of disposal ponds. They do not deter thirsty critters on both land and air.

Meanwhile "used" fracking water injected back into fracked crustal formations is causing earthquakes in places that have never before known any such seismic activity.

While we await advancements in drilling technology that might make possible the use of saline water, the industry as a whole is using way more fresh water than just a few years ago. If this water is coming from your aquifer, you are going to notice an increase in the price you pay for water, if you're left with any at all.
