What happened to the animals?

What happened to the animals? Lessons must be learned from this disaster. The consequences of mass livestock death are horrible for all (particularly, of course, for the individual animals). I have not heard of any attempts to evacuate factory farm livestock. I wonder if there were any. Politicians need to work on incentives to get homes and businesses OUT of flood zones!

Now we wait for the magnitude of this disaster to unfold.
